Kettle Bridge Clogs were delighted to be invited to take part in Maidstone's St. George's Day parade.

Under blue skies, the procession, including hundreds of scouts, made its way from County Hall, down Week Street before turning right down the High Street. We saluted the Mayor in typical KBC fashion with his own "star turn". Onward we went, down the hill to the river where we crossed in single file via the footbridge into Lockmeadow.

There we were presented to the Deputy Mayor (see the "Team Photo"). We then took our turn to entertain the considerable crowd with a number of dances. This included Cossington featuring appropriate patriotic flags in addition to the normal "British" accompanying music, provided expertly (as always!) by the band. Inevitably, we completed our stand with Churchtown assisted by willing members of the audience. A great day all round.
